Apple Glass Lantern shop in Turkey wins Distinguished Engineering Design Award :

Apple pay much attention to the combination of simplicity and aesthetic in their products and so they rely on this rule in the design of its stores, indivisible, so it is not surprising that recently hear that the Institute of The Institution of Structural Engineers awarded the Apple store in the Turkish city of Istanbul distinctive geometric design award Supreem Award for Structural Engineering Excellence. For the Apple store, who received the award, it bore the name of "Glass Lantern / Glass Lantern" and the good reason that the walls of this store completely transparent.
Four huge glass panels represent the four walls of the shop, while the use of carbon fiber reinforced plastic on the ceiling. The result is a smooth design, and fit to put Apple products inside. It should be noted that this building was designed by the firm Foster + Partners.
